I am putting together a creative team for my new project titled "IDIAI - Black Shero" - A hybrid, AI conceptualized character inspired by the revered Queen Idia of the ancient Benin Kingdom. We have received enough entries for screenwriters already. Now, we are only looking for animators, VFX Artists, Compositors, and Illustrators.

STANLEE OHIKHUARE SUCCESSFULLY HOSTS THE 7TH EDITION OF THE REALTIME INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL (RTF)

Submissions and participation over the years are as follows: 2016(Theme: EMOTIONS) Sept 29th – Oct 3rd, 2016 800 submissions from 80 countries (60 Films were screened). Overall Participation via registration: 1,512 (Physical attendance of 871) Participation: 1,500 (During the peak showcase at the African Shrine) 2017 (Theme: HUMANITY) June 24th – July 1st, 2017 1,350 submissions from 162 countries (93 films were screened). Overall Participation via registration: 7,812 (Physical attendance of 1,786) 2018 (Theme: STORIES THAT TOUCH) June 24th – June 30th, 2018 1,123 submissions from 154 countries (134 films were screened). Overall Participation via registration: 9,890 (Physical attendance of 1,432) 2019 (Theme: RELENTLESS) June 23rd – June 30th, 2019 1,105 submissions from 151 countries (104 films screened). Overall Participation via registration: 10,200 (Physical attendance of 1,609) 2020 (Theme: HUMANITY CAN) April 7th – April 15th, 2020 1,300 submissions from 28 countries (116 films screened). Virtual Participation (ONLINE): 16,456 2021 (Theme: ACE) July 20th – July 25th, 2021 2,895 submissions from 31 countries (93 films screened). Overall Participation via registration (HYBRID): 7,600 (Physical attendance of 603) 2022 (Theme: MOMENTS IN TIME) August 19th – August 27th, 2022 3,0005 submissions from 92 countries (200 films to be screened in physical locations and virtually). Overall Participation via registration so far: 10,384 Anticipated Participation: 5,000 Our core demographics are young and emerging filmmakers who are hungry for knowledge and seek a platform for expression. They form 80% of our participants each year. So far, we have had hundreds of willing volunteers who work with our team for free, but in 2021, we started to provide these volunteers some financial assistance for logistics and welfare. We contribute immensely to the entertainment Eco-system and the Nigerian economy in the following ways: • Training and Workshops • Industry Sessions and panel discussions • Film Screenings and Conversations • Tourism • Culture impression and export • Trade, Procurement and exchange • Employment. • Co-production partnerships that benefit filmmakers • Exposure for emerging filmmakers |

FREE FILMMAKING TRAINING
Stanlee Ohikhuare offers 7- day filmmaking training in Benin City, Edo State
Originally meant to be a two-day training running between 9am and 2pm daily, the training - which was hosted by Genius Hub, eventually ran for seven days (9am - 9:30pm), and we made two short films in the process.

In 2022, none of my Gifts/Talents/Abilities will be idle. Get ready to see all of Stanlee Ohikhuare. At the dusk of 2021, I realized that I have been holding back the full expression of my creative prowess in diverse dimensions so, I have promised myself one thing - to spend my talents like an exceedingly rich man who is trying to spend all of his wealth, and go broke! In 2022, expect:

Regarding Item seven (7), I have spent five years focusing more on other people through my film festival - Realtime International Film Festival hence, the noticeable "less emphasis" on myself, and my personal film career. The thing is... I genuinely enjoy being a support system for others to take advantage of. It's my calling as a Christian.
But who says I can't balance things up and retain my prolificity while still being a conduit to help others grow?
Long story short, I am back in FULL FORCE, starting with my new feature film titled #forthecitymovie . This will be closely followed by other features including #earth Movie, #TheGiftAndHateOfGod , #WillieWillie , and a couple of short films (as usual). I will also be releasing the documentary I made in honor of my late father, titled #MACO - We are complete. The awards will follow!
In addition to my filmmaking however, my #Identity as a #painter , #illustrator , #songwriter , #musician , and #actor will be unveiled!
You know that saying that the wealthiest place in the world is the Grave - (because of the many untapped talents buried with folks after they die)... That will not be my story! The parable of the talents in Matthew 25:14–30 comes to mind.
To achieve these things, I need money, and I need to be alive so, I fall back to my favorite scripture in Proverbs 22:4 which says "The reward for humility and fear of the LORD is riches and honor and life."

JANUARY 2022
PRE-PRODUCTION CONTINUES ON "FOR THE CITY" MOVIE.
2022 is here, and work has commenced! We are still in pre-production for my upcoming movie titled "FOR THE CITY". I teamed up with a couple of instrumentalists to compose / arrange the soundtracks and theme songs that have been earmarked for the movie. We have one more rehearsal, after which the sound engineer will commence work on the digital mix of the derived soundtracks.
RTF 2022 is set to take place in Benin City, Edo State - Nigeria.

Plans have been concluded to host the 7th edition of the Realtime International Film Festival (RTF) in Benin City, Edo State - Nigeria. The festival will celebrate the rich culture of the Edo people, and the return of several stolen artifacts back to Benin.
